The 1-speed version is perfectly sufficient for flat city riding. Its dynamic and fast performance guarantees fun in every situation.

The comfortable and robust 3-speed gear system offers more flexibility when starting, in hilly and slightly mountainous terrain, and against headwinds. A true all-rounder, perfectly suited for 90% of situations.

The 6-speed gear system offers pure luxury. Compared to the 3-speed system, it has two lighter gears that will get you up steep hills, and one heavier gear for when you want to pedal hard. With this version, you are truly equipped for every situation.

The upride® rack is universally applicable. Any bike bag with a hook system is basically suitable.
The inner distance between the hooks should be adjustable to a width of 95 - 100 mm. The hooks should also have a locking mechanism that reliably prevents the bag from being pulled off once it has been hung.

ORTLIEB bags with the QL2.1 mounting system and VAUDE bags with the QMR mounting system, for example, are ideally suited.

With the upride® Clip-On, you attach the handle of your rolling suitcase to the seat post, and it simply rolls along.
Rolling suitcases with inline skate wheels or profiled sports wheels are best suited. The handle should be extendable to at least 104 cm above the ground (standard size). Manufacturers of sports rolling suitcases (VAUDE, Eastpak, TheNorthFace, etc.) have many products with these wheels.

The upride® features a patented drive system that truly gets the 12-inch wheels up to speed without requiring you to pedal faster.

This allows you to comfortably ride as fast as you would on a classic bicycle. Depending on the rider, this typically ranges between 20 and 30 km/h.

We have already safely and controllably ridden down well-paved descents at 60 km/h.

Thanks to the patented drive, you ride at the same speed as with a city bike at the same cadence.

The upright posture is also a lot of fun and prevents tension in the neck and wrists.

The ergonomically optimal upright posture and the swinging saddle engage every muscle, especially in the hip and back area.

This is why you can ride long distances without tension, pain, or fatigue, even better than with other bikes.

We have already ridden long tours of up to 300 km in one day.

Logical: Everyone prefers to ride on smooth asphalt. This also applies to the upride®. However, you can also easily drive on paved forest paths, cobblestone streets and other surfaces. With the 50 mm wide tires, you usually drive very safely and comfortably.
The larger the obstacles on the path (roots, large stones, sticks, curbs), the more attention you have to pay to the path. The upride® is not suitable for driving on coarse gravel, grass or sand.

No! We have equipped the front brake with anti-lock protection so that you don't run the risk of falling forward if you suddenly brake with both brakes in the heat of the moment. This ensures maximum braking power without the front brake being able to lock up. Pretty ingenious.

Uphill rides are less strenuous with the upride® than with a normal bike, as you are already standing and can therefore apply a lot of pressure to the pedal. As with any bicycle, the prerequisite is that the lowest gear is still low enough to ride the incline. We therefore recommend the 6-speed version if you want to regularly ride up steep hills.
As a tip: If you slide a little further forward on the saddle, it will be even easier to cycle out of the saddle for longer periods. This way, you'll become a real mountain goat with the upride® 6-speed.

Riding downhill with the upride® is a great pleasure. The rolling resistance of the industrial-bearing wheels is very low. Thanks to the comfortable trail at the front wheel and the high wheel precision, the upride® can be steered safely and predictably even at high speeds.
The caliper brakes with high-quality KoolStop brake pads bring you to a safe stop even from high speeds.

The maximum permissible total weight of each upride® folding bike is 120 kg.
The maximum permissible total weight is the highest weight at which a bicycle may be safely loaded – bicycle + rider + luggage combined.

The upride® is manufactured from the highest quality and most stable materials in the heart of Germany.
The steering column, for example, is made of highly strengthened austenitic stainless steel. In the event of overload, such as a saddle load of 300 kg, the steering column only deforms without breaking. During the ride, this special steel provides comfortable saddle suspension.
The long-term stability of the frame has been confirmed by dynamic tests in accordance with DIN EN ISO 4210. As long as the permissible total weight is observed, we guarantee a 7-Year Frame Warranty for proper use.

The chain and sprocket are made of high-strength stainless steel with extremely high wear protection. This quality is world-leading in the bicycle market.

That's why, with normal use, the chain and sprocket last 5 - 10 years despite the few teeth before they need to be replaced.

The folding joints on folding bikes are subject to heavy loads. They are often the weak point of folding bikes. Our folding joints are manufactured with the highest precision, free of play to within 0.01 mm. And are made from the highest quality materials. The moving parts are made entirely from high-strength stainless steel, which has undergone elaborate surface treatment to ensure maximum wear protection.
This guarantees maximum stability and functionality even after thousands of folding operations.

The upride® requires very little maintenance due to its high-quality materials and workmanship: The chain needs to be lubricated from time to time, and the brake pads will eventually need to be replaced.

Standard tasks such as patching tires, cleaning the chain, and replacing brake pads can be performed by yourself or your bike dealer.

We also operate the service center for our customers at our assembly site in Hanover.

upride® is 100% Made in Germany. We manage the entire production process, from purchasing materials to all processing stages, and assemble the upride® at our company location in Hanover. 80% of upride® parts are manufactured in Germany, 10% come from Europe, and 10% from the rest of the world. The saddle can be replaced with any standard saddle in a few minutes. No special tools are required.

The E-upride® is scheduled to launch in spring 2027. We are in the thick of preparations and testing, testing, testing.

Shipping times vary depending on your location: Germany 1-2 days, Europe 2-3 days, outside Europe approx. 7-21 days.

The upride® will be delivered directly to your home by DHL. It is the only wheel that can be shipped worldwide without a bulky goods surcharge. It is packed in a handy and sturdy box with carrying handles and can be easily carried. You can also have the upride® delivered to a post office station.
